ABOUT US: We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic.

The good, the bad, the ugly – and most importantly, the real and real funny. We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you – the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test – one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

  1. I'm going to hawaii in 4 weeks. i'm going to walgreens to get my covid test and i was wondering did you get the rapid test or the lab test?

  2. You are lucky to go to Hawaii. I was born In Honolulu in 1944 but had to leave my beautiful Islands never to return. Just could not afford to live there anymore. But, your video is nice but just a dream of Hawaii. There are two sides and you saw only one.

  3. I’m traveling to Maui for the first time in June. Your vlogs have been so helpful as we plan what we are going to do and see. Question, did you need a second COVID test before returning to the mainland?

  4. Hi guys,
On the CVS website, we had to enter our credit card information for 135$ for getting the NAAT test, how did you guys get a free test from CVS?

  5. I’m a flight attendant that visits the islands frequently. I just returned there last night, and let me tell you that it is crowded and many tourists don’t wear masks. I get it, everyone’s sick of this covid sh!t, but just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean covid is too. Wear your mask and respect the locals and fellow tourists around you. Follow the rules, it’s not that hard.

  6. Great videos Tim and Fin. Thank you. We are going to Maui in two weeks. We leave from Charleston SC on Thursday, April 29. We spend the night in Sacramento and then fly to Maui on Friday, April 30. We were planning to get our Covid test on Tuesday, April 27 in Charleston. It would be within the 72 hour window required by Maui. Are we good getting one in Charleston even though we have to spend the night in California before getting to Maui?

  7. Thanks for the tips! Did you guys have to download the aloha safe app? How long before the trip did you download if so?

  8. How did you get tested for free? It costs $139 in cvs and it’s the cheapest option I found 😬

  9. I love your videos! You 2 are super cute and truly know how to give reviews. Thank you!! Also, I love your music choices, seriously, it really makes the videos extra good!! Nice work and again thank you!

  10. Thanks for the info. I will say, though, CVS no longer does free tests for travelers (voluntary testing) and they updated their list of acceptable labs to reflect CVS' "SELF PAY" only.

  11. I am part hawian and my dad used to live there but he moved over to america a long time ago and I've never been to Hawaii before 🐐

  12. Look! People living in Hawaii!
Japan finally decided to throw their radioactive contaminated water into the ocean. It's really shoking! If you see the location of Hawaii and Japan, it will make you shocked and worried.

  13. How did you guys know your results would come back on time though? It’s like you have to risk it and hope it’ll come back within the 72 hours of your departure time. I read somewhere else that this guy went to Walgreens and his test did not come back in time 🙁 it took 4 days to come in.

  14. Amazing video!! Can you provide the info for where you stayed in this video and if you would recommend it? Thank you 😊 ☀️🌴🌺

  15. Did you test at walgreens? What was their turnaround times? Seems they dont guarantee anything.

  16. I went right before covid hit. Hope you checked out Slaughterhouse Beach and the cool town of Paia. Iao Valley was my favorite!

  17. This video is a confirmation lol. Great timing. I'm going to Maui for my honeymoon in few weeks. Thank you thank you! Any advise on cheap car rentals? I've been looking but no luck…

  18. Hello, were traveling to Hawaii april 29th. How did you get the test for free? Did insurance pay for it? I'm so interested on your tips.

  19. First timer to your channel, long time Maui visitor. Here are a few observations; You do a pretty good job with Hawaiian pronunciation for a first timer. Being a fellow East Coaster, you get up crazy early on Maui! I would have went with a Wrangler over the little Chevy. Much easier to see things from that little bit of extra height. Aloha Joey's Kitchen. Huli huli chicken for the win! My wife and I also spend time in a condo. As you found out at Kaanapali, EVERY inch of beach on Maui is public. Save money staying at condo, as most days we spend exploring. However, we always book five days or so at a resort. There is a R and R part of our trip, usually at the end. Very smart NOT walking down to the Nakalele blow hole as that was some gnarly wind.
