Hawaii Travel Restriction Update | island hopping doesn't require a negative COVID test #Shorts

As of today, June 15th, 2021, the State of Hawaii doesn’t require a negative COVID test to travel to the neighboring islands. Visitors and residents don’t have to have take a negative COVID test, regardless of vaccination status. Go from Maui to Hawai’i, Hawai’i to Kaua’i, Oahu to Maui, etc. without taking a test.

As of June 13th, the vaccination rate for fully vaccinated is at 55% and 61% for initial vaccination. The next milestone is mainland vaccinated travelers will be exempt from taking a negative COVID test when Hawaii hits 60% fully vaccinated.

At 70% fully vaccinated, all Hawaii travel restrictions are removed.
