Too late for you and your family, but for you readers that are planning to visit O'ahu, the orchids you got on your plates on your 2nd day, NOT for eating, just for making your plates look pretty.
The cheesecake factory has the worst food ever…in my opinion. I live here and there is always a long line of people waiting to get in. I don't know how many locals eat there but I think they get away with such terrible food because most of the customers are visitors. The food has never been gourmet but when they first opened a few years ago it was ok, now not so much.

I stayed there for maybe two days and it was very nice and I really liked that they give you flip flops and taro chips
When you said "the birds there are not shy and they just come up to you and come so close" felt that too😅
