  3. Would you recommend the hui car rental app? My partner and I are traveling to Oahu in June and we're trying to figure out if Hui is a good option for us to take day trips outside of Waikiki. Thanks!

  4. Lol Wow, Iโ€™ve never seen anyone talk so calmly and gracefully about the businesses that have had to close their doors. Thank you for choosing to support local as much as possible. The people of Hawaii appreciate all they can get while under the thumb of tyrannical government.

  5. Thanks for your video! I've been to Hawai'i a few dozen times since 2007 but my trip in May will be the first time since Covid. I had to cancel a trip scheduled for September 2020. Which restaurant is that at 3:41? The view is interesting she I'd like to check it out.

  6. A really great tip is to book with an airline that offers PRE-CLEARANCE. Once your results are uploaded and questionnaires filled out online, when you head to the airport youโ€™re given a wristband that allows you to bypass screening in Hawaii. Just head out the door no waiting in line. Just make sure your airport is partnered to do so. I know Hawaiian does so from experience, I believe Alaska and United offer that as well.

  7. Planning to go on September with my family after I get back from my deployment. Anyway we can get an update late summer like July or August ??

Do you think 1 week vacation is enough to see everything on the island ??

Also, any recommendations to take an 1 year old child besides the beach on Oahu ?

  8. Aloha Josh and Lisa! And Lila and Melissa!! I see you all!!! Love your videos and the scenery from Oahu! I miss living there, miss the sushi, the ramen, the mai-tai's and the music. I do hope to get back there someday, but in the meantime I'm really enjoying all your episodes. Keep it up!!!

  9. Fun video and informative. I thought Hawaii was a no go due to restrictions or having to quarantine for 2 weeks… which is fine I probably wouldn't need to leave a resort anyway. But good to know things are open and tourist can still enjoy the beauties the islands have to offer.

  10. Thank you guys my family is trying to go to Hawaii in September even though there is a bit of time until we finally go I want to find all the safety tips to keep ourselves safe and the people there!

  11. At first the COVID-19 72 hrs are confusing ..just follow the Hawaii travel guide Lines and you yโ€™all be alright and nothing to worry about ..we were there last Feb.9-15..bars ,restaurants are open till 9 pm last call at 9:30pm ..but you can still do some activities around the island ..and yeah once you landed they are gonna ask your QR covid test and the Hawaii sheriff standing by to escorted you out ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃor you will be given a wristband for a10 days quarantines that would be sucks …rather than that Hawaii is open and yeah please wear a mask or $500 ticket they are serious about that ..I go to Hawaii 3-4 times in a year ,but the covid restriction slow me down 2019.

  12. What a fabulous video! So informative and takes the guesswork out of the travel aspect. Weโ€™re moving back at the end of this month and I was trying to figure out the special Hawaii Covid test requirements. You just made it so easy! Mahalo!
