Where to Stay in Hawaii: Hotels vs Vacation Rentals –

  1. Excellent video , TY for this information ! May I ask you which is the best and reliable tour operator to do organized tours around Oahu or circle island ones ? Those who take you to nice local places , not the typical tourist traps … 🙏❤️

  2. These guys are way off about the weather. It is 90 degrees on Oahu. We think October is the worst month as we would like to be done with the heat. It isn't raining for a week ever

  3. I recently got engaged and the one thing we’ve always agreed on is that we want to honeymoon in Hawaii (Maui) and we also both decided October (of which year we don’t know yet) is the month we want so this just made me even more excited to eventually go and that it’s the perfect month! 😍

  4. I’m trying to plan a vacation to Maui right now. How necessary is it to have air conditioning for October? I run warm and use it a lot where I live but if the nights are cool there I would hate to spend a lot of extra money when it’s not necessary

  5. GREAT video!! We were planning a trip to Hawaii in May next year. It'll be my parents 40th wedding anniversary.. It'll be my wife and I, my parent's and some of her family. How would you rate May overall for snorkeling, hiking and other activities? You have a new subscriber too! Much respect and support from Yuma, AZ. 👍👍

  6. We always told our friends to come visit us during Sept-Mid Nov and also Mid Jan – Early May. Don't go during the holidays and summer. Although, we honestly had 32 guests in our 4 years living there, and they all came at different times, so over 4 years we probably did have someone come for each month and always had a fantastic trip. But that's also being able to come stay with your friends for free lol…. And not need rental cars! I also don't mean that for 4 years we had a visitor for every single month of all those years… Just maybe 1 year we'd have some during 3 or 4 months, and then the next year during different months. I would agree that Oct is great!

  7. I came last Nov. The day after Thanksgiving!! It was amazing. Covid was in full swing. I loved it. I stayed at the beachcomber. It was empty. I fill like I had the place to myself!! Coming back this year. Not looking forward to the crowds!!

  8. We only have time off the end of December so all three of our trips to Kauai/Maui/Hawaii were Dec 15-31. AND we still loved it and had a fantastic time. But, yes, the condos and flights were $$$. Crowds were OK and we hit the beaches early to get parking. We have more flexibility with our jobs now and are planning next trip for early summer. 😎

  9. Can you give any good suggestions on what to do on our last day at Oahu. Our flight leaves at 8pm so we are trying to decide is best to do after checkout and before departure. Thanks!
